A Bit About Anica...
Anica has over a decade of international and national experience in sports marketing, having worked for various global brands, organisations, and sporting bodies in Singapore and Brisbane. More recently, she has transitioned to fundraising in the not-for-profit sector, working with Foodbank Queensland, Wesley Mission Queensland, and Hummingbird House. Anica holds a degree in Modern History, which fuels her interest in marketing, fundraising, and data analytics. She enjoys delving into the who, what, where, how, and when to deliver successful marketing and fundraising campaigns. Recognised as an emerging fundraiser in Australia by Fundraise 4 Australia, she is committed to fundraising for sport and activating the community behind a common goal. Outside of work, Anica is an avid sports fan and volunteer. In addition to her board position with Water Polo Queensland, she is a committee member for the Water Polo Australia Foundation and co-chair of the Water Polo Queensland History and Traditions committee. She has also volunteered for numerous events, including the Volvo Ocean Race, ICC T20 World Cup, Rugby League World Cup, and FIFA Women's World Cup. To preserve historical heritage, Anica volunteers at Fort Lytton, ensuring a significant piece of Brisbane's history is documented for future generations.
