A Bit About Elly...

Elly joined AWC’s Development team in 2022, based in Sydney. She first started as a field ecologist studying animal behaviour and then ventured overseas, working as a fieldwork assistant in Namibia for the Zoological Society of London before moving to South Africa to work as a safari guide in Kruger National Park. Prior to AWC, Elly coordinated training events for WIRES in NSW and developed national training courses for wildlife rescue volunteers. With a passion for science communications, she is thoroughly enjoying connecting AWC supporters with the incredible wildlife conservation work being carried out by this organisation around Australia.
