A Bit About Brigid...
I am a fundraising professional with experience in corporate partnerships and campaign delivery across various sectors including cultural institutions and higher education. As a trained archaeologist, I have a special interest in the humanities and have worked on national campaigns raising money for major museums.
Alongside this Fellowship, I am completing a Graduate Certificate in Business (Philanthropy & Nonprofit Studies) through QUT. I am passionate about creating memorable experiences that facilitate longstanding relationships, which ultimately create meaningful impact within the community.

Fundraising is about empowering individuals to make an impact in their community. In order to do this, we need proper training and support for our fundraisers here in Australia especially in light of the understaffing in the sector. Sharing knowledge, experiences, and challenges with colleagues across the country is the best way to start.
